After finishing a video lecture, you go to attempt questions with your confidence brimming out about the subject. But wait, you can’t do any of them.

What! Why he/she is telling these obvious stuffs, bruh !!

If you ever felt that way while watching any video tutorial of any subject, it can be Physics, Geography, Civics, Chemistry, or even Economics. Then hold up, this article is for you.

Let me plunge right into the topic

  1. Ask questions!!

It’s all about asking questions. Yes, you read that right. You just need to make out questions on everything what the lecturer is talking about to get most of the lecture. Let me plunk it down.

Suppose you are watching a lecture on Asexual reproduction and the lecturer says “Regeneration is not the same as reproduction ”.At that moment you should pause the video think about different questions related to the information ,and that’s it.

2. Appreciate it !!

After a module or topic finish, just stop for a few moments and brood over the topic. You must have an appreciation for the fact or the information you just learnt. It will help you to retain the information for longer period of time.

After you finish reading gravitation. You must appreciate the fact that if you drop a feather and a Tesla car on moon they will hit the surface at the same time .

3. Take notes, it’s not a web series

  1. Taking notes keep you proactive during lecture, it’s a great way to avoid sleep during the middle of the lecture
  2. Writing notes also help you to review the material after the lecture.

4. Solve the problem or the material

“No one had learnt to paint by watching a video tutorial you need to get your hands dirty — Anonymus”

I can’t simplify it further, it means you really need to get to work. See where you still lack concept. Clear it.

That’s it
